Ben H. Whitlow

Ben H. Whitlow, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. He will be laid to rest at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Ben's family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Ben entered into this life in Cedar Hill, Tennessee on May 21, 1941 to the late H.M. Whitlow and Margaret Patterson Whitlow. As a young man, Ben proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army. He went on to enjoy a career working at a phone company. Ben was a member of the the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Tucker. Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Nagey Whitlow and sons, Brian Whitlow, Steve Whitlow (Gina), Billy Joe Nagey (Brenda), and Anthony Grass, and his sister, Sue Hood (Charlie). He was the proud grandfather of Joey Nagey, Mallory Nagey, and Steve Whitlow and great grandfather to one.
Members of Ben's family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
