Barbara Hopson Slade

Barbara Ann Hopson Slade, age 77 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Clarksville passed away Monday, January 2, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Barbara entered this life on March 22, 1945 in Morristown, TN to the late Kenneth and Lakie Anderson Hopson. She was of the Baptist denomination and formerly the head teller at US Bank for 38 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life of 28 years, her husband, Lucius Scott Slade, and siblings, Kenny, Garry, and Frankie Hopson.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Lisa K.) Yingst; daughter, Brenda (Dave) Centore; grandchildren, Ashley Joyce, Jordan Yingst, Ava, Sophie, and Emma Centore; great-grandchildren, Kairi, Naomi, Fiona, Makala, Justice, Ronan, and Arya; siblings, Sandra Taylor Powell, James (Karen) Hopson, Pam (David) Ford, Terry Hopson, and Kathy (Jason) Morris.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
