Barbara Fowler

Ms. Barbara Jean Fowler, age 75 of Halls, TN, fell asleep in the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at McIntosh Cemetery in Tennessee Ridge, TN.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Hwy 51, Dyersburg, TN.
Barbara entered this life on June 23, 1941 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Robert Hugh and Mary Jewel Garner Biggs.
Barbara was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Dyersburg, TN. There she was an active member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and also served on numerous church committees. Her church family was the focal point of her life. Barbara worked at Bank of Halls for over 30 years and retired from there as branch manager. She enjoyed her time working there and made many life long friends.
Her love and devotion to her family was the heart of who she was and every family member is blessed to have shared her love and her laughter.
Barbara leaves behind her loving children, Robert Fowler (Sandra Bryant Fowler), Cynthia Raines, Jackie Bowman (Robert Bowman); sister, Mary Joyce Himmaugh; grandchildren, Robert Casey Fowler, Stacy Hawkins, Allison Raines, Jessica Roberts, Andrew Cochran, and Kathryn Cochran.
Flowers and gifts may be delivered to Trinity Lutheran Church on the day of the memorial service.
