Barbara Dyce

Barbara Aline Dyce, 62, Clarksville, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens and Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born April 2, 1947 in Montgomery County and was the daughter of the late David and Nellie Bumpus Byrd. Mrs. Dyce was retired from Acme Boot Company and a member of Excell Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Horace Gilbert Dyce, Clarksville; daughters, Rita Lynn (Kenneth) Dyce Hill, Brenda Leann (David) Dyce Frost, both of Clarksville; brother, Henry Lester Byrd, New York; sister, Margaret E. Heaton, Cunningham; grandchildren, Keenan David Frost and Sean Mason Frost. Pallbearers will be David Clinard, Steve Batten, Kenny Keaton, Ernest Schmidt, Sidney Stacey, John Stanley. David Reid will serve as honorary pallbearer.
