Aubrey `Skip` VanDeWater, 71, Clarksville, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 22, 1938 in Far Rockaway, NY, son of the late Aubrey VanDeWater, Sr. and Frances Lefferts VanDeWater. He was a truck driver, had served three years in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne and also with the National Guard in New York. Survivors include his wife Ann Michinski VanDeWater, sons Chris and Scott VanDeWater, daughter Robbin (Charles) Kentner, sister Carol Gibson, all of Clarksville, grandchildren Jennifer (William) Harris, Michelle Kentner, and Chris (Britney) VanDeWater, Jr., and great-grandchildren Jordan and Rhiley VanDeWater. Pallbearers will be Scott and Chris VanDeWater, Charles Kentner, William Potters, Jeremy Wilson, and William Harris. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
