Arvel `Pappy` Maxwell Mills, 91, formerly of Clarksville, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at his daughter's residence in Jamestown, KY. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 14, 1918 in Big Stick, WV and was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Alma Stump Mills; and his wife, Gertrude M. Mills, Mr. Mills was a retired Bus Driver and a Baptist. Survivors include his sons, Jerry Mills, Bobby Mills, Darrell Mills, Steve Mills; daughter, Linda Clay; fifteen grandchildren and thrity five great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
