Mr. Acevedo-Plaza was a Catholic, U.S. Army Veteran and a worked for the Commisary in South Dakota.
Survivors include his siblings, Johnny (Lori) Acevedo, Inez Acevedo, Gladys (Johnny) Acevedo, Ricarda Acevedo, Aida (Ruben) Acevedo, Carmen (Carlos) Acevedo, Lucy (Migdalia) Acevedo; and many many nieces and nephews.
