Arthur Tanner

Mr. Arthur was born October 26, 1908 in Dickson County,Tn. son of the late William Tanner and Minnie Blankenship Tanner he was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Chapman Tanner. Funeral service will be 11am Friday at Erin Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Greg Thompson, Bro. Richard Neal, Bro. David Steppee, Bro. Sammie Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Thursday and from 9am until service Friday at the Church. He was a member of Erin Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include 6 daughters Donna (Orra) Shelden of McEwen,Tn. Nina (Jean) Galland of Erin,Tn. Doris (Verlon) Thompson of Conway,Ar. Linda (Paul) Carothers of Crossville,Tn. Martha (Raymond) Pulley of Erin,Tn. Lois (Glenn)Cryer of Stewart,Tn. 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren 10 great great grandchildren.Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
