Ardith Faye Nichols Perkins, 76, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Perkins was born December 22, 1934 in Montgomery County, and was preceded in death by her parents, Arden W. and Ruby Lines Brumbley Nichols; husband, Howell Perkins; sisters, Aliene "Nicky" Laine, Kay Carpenter; brother, Arden Nichols Jr.
She was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church and a nurse. She loved to quilt and was a member of the Quilters Guild
Survivors include her son, Gerry Wayne Perkins of Kerrville, Texas; brothers, Rob Roy (Barbara) Nichols, Eddie (Fay) Nichols, all of Ashland City, TN; sisters, Loretta (Leighton) Howdershell, Greenbriar, TN, Judy (Dick) Ryan, Florida; two grandsons and great-grandchildren.
