Anthony Earl Davis, affectionately known as "Pudge", born on May 20, 1962, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He devoted a significant part of his life to service, proudly working as a Paramedic for Montgomery County EMS and volunteering as a firefighter for St. Bethlehem Fire Rescue. His commitment to helping others was evident in every aspect of his career as a first responder, where he made a profound impact on the community he served.
Outside of his professional life, Anthony enjoyed God's grand creation, finding joy in activities such as hunting and fishing. His passion for nature was complimented by his involvement in the Twin Oaks Bow Hunters club, where he forged lasting friendships and shared his love for the sport. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Anthony always appreciated a sharp Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a symbol of his adventurous spirit. Additionally, Anthony loved the LORD, and always enjoyed fellowship and worship at the Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Anthony is survived by his brothers, Chris Davis (Tiffany) and Ricky Gibson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Sanford Davis and Mary Alice Oldham Davis, and siblings, Jimmy Carpenter and Carol Bryant.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, located at 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00 noon at the same location. Bro. Jimmy Byrd will officiate. Anthony will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Proctor, Bill Webb, Mike Dowdy, Randy Steeley, Ronnie Johnson, and Tyler Luckey. Members of the St. Bethlehem Volunteer Fire & Rescue and Montgomery County EMS will serve as honorary pallbearers.
