Mr. Anthony Frank Cacozza, age 85 of Stewart, TN, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center in Madison, TN.
Anthony was born July 28, 1931 in Chicago, IL, son to the late Sylvester and Ethel Hayes Cacozza. Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Army where he fought in the Korean War. Anthony was a resident of Dekalb County, IL and Gratiot, WI for many years. Anthony relocated to Stewart, TN in 2016. Anthony was a member of the Odd Fellows organization for several years, and a lifelong member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local Union No. 1889.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Toni (Chris) Cacozza-Jensen of Stewart, TN; granddaughter, Alexandria Jensen of Stewart, TN; three sisters, Sylvia (Richard) Colucci of Wheaton, IL, Rose Flickinger of Melrose Park, IL, and Evelyn Kovach of Howard, IL. Anthony also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Ramona (Al) Liberty, Lucy (Virgil) Hendershot, and Merry Miller.
There are no services planned at this time as Anthony’s wishes were to be cremated.
