Annie Mae Stephens, 80, Clarksville, died Monday, August 3, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Burial will be in Louise United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born June 26, 1929 in Palmyra, TN and was the daughter of the late Stot and Betty Byrd Lyle. Anne was a retired retail manager and a member of New Providence United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Kevan Clinard, Taylorsville, MS; daughters, Debbie Urbat, Clarksville, Rosemary (Francis) Carpenter, Portsmouth, VA; step-son, Kerry Murphy, Ashland, MS; brother, Alec Broome, Memphis; sisters, Dell Jackson, Palmyra, Betty Henderson, Palmyra, Mattie Astuto, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Steven Urbat, Cheryl Urbat, Heather Hall and Melissa Alman. Pallbearers will be Gene Mullins, Michael Riggins, Philip Fradiska, Darell Anderson, Andrew Stevens and Eric Hillier.
