Annie Mae Nicholson

Annie Mae Hyde Nicholson, 91, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Brewer's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Ben Shearon, the Rev. Robert Hargrove and Tracy Jennette officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Mae was born March 25, 1921 in Cheatham County, Tennessee, the daughter of George Douglas Hyde and Sally Ann "Ethel" Evans Hyde. She was a homemaker.
Mae was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Milton Nicholson. She leaves behind to cherish her in memories, her son Robert Milton "Bobby" Nicholson of Nashville; her daughters, Ruby Shearon of Clarksville and Nelda Jennette of Ashland City; siblings, Malcolm Hyde and Sue Conrad, both of Clarksville; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Shearon, Kevin Shearon, Gaines Shearon, Timmy Jennette, Troy Nicholson, Sam Davis, Caleb Short, and Kim Shearron. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Conrad, Jim Henry Hyde, and members of the "Ol' Folks" Sunday School Class of Brewer's Chapel Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brewer's Chapel United Methodist Church General Fund, 4965 Thomasville Rd, Chapmansboro, TN 37035 or to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
