Annie Laura Evans, 88, Clarksville, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Billy Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. She was born January 2, 1922 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, John Bailey and Minnie Blanton Morrison; husband, Wyatt Benton Evans; son, Milton David Evans; brothers, Richard Morrison, James Morrison; sisters, May Morrison, Clara Davidson and Willie Mae Davidson. Mrs. Evans was formerly employed by the U.S. Postal Service and was a sewing instructor. She was a Baptist. She is survived granddaughters, Beverly (Hugh) Crockarell, Clarksville, Patti Evans, Nashville; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Puckett.
