Anna Walling

Anna Walling, age 96 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday July 20th, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Anna entered this life on September 6th, 1926 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late George and Florence Fennessy-Morey. She was a retired secretary , having worked at both  X.S. Smith and Lavoy Laboratories. Anna was a caretaker to her family despite being deaf. She spent her summers traveling from Florida to New Jersey to spend time with her nieces and nephews. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling alongside her husband.. Later on in life when her parents were aging, she cared for them diligently until the end. She did the same for her husband before his passing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Walling; siblings, Loretta Krampert. Florence Sturt, and George Morey; niece and nephews, Candance, Scott, and Dale.

Survivors include her sister Pat Morey; nieces and nephews, Dana Granato, Cheryl (Robert) Borowsky, Eric (Cheryl) Herzog, Danny (Jaime) Herzog, Mark (Nicole) Morey, and Wayne (Cheryl) Anderson. Anna also leaves behind her great nephews, Robbie Granato and John (Amanda) Granato, along with many other great nieces, nephews and extended family members.
