Anna Hackney Rawlins, 72, Clarksville, died Friday, June 25, 2010, at her home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hilldale Church of Christ with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. Monday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 3, 1938 in Nashville, TN, daughter of Howard and Lillian Hackney. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her sister, Mary Nell Freeman (Clark). She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and a faithful member of Hilldale Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, George Rawlins III; children George IV (Angie), Jim (Lisa), Scott (Anna), and Beth Futrell (Mark), nine grandchildren, as well as sister Jan Sharp (Robert). Active pallbearers will be Ross Rawlins, Ben Rawlins, Christopher Rawlins, Jared Futrell, Mark Futrell, Jimmy Baldwin, Harold Galbraith, Leon McQueen, and David Muiznieks. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of Hilldale Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Clarksville Christian School, 501 Hwy 76, Clarksville, TN 37043.
