Anna Foster

Anna Ruth Foster, 74, Clarksville, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. David Fambrough and Royce Dukes officiating. Burial will be in Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. She was born July 1, 1936 in Houston County and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Shaver Reed; husband, Dexter L. Foster; brothers, William Reed, Clarence Reed, Owen Reed; and a sister, Mary J. Reed. Mrs. Foster was a retired Bookkeeper for Wave Electric and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Neal (Annette) Foster, Dover, David (Patty) Foster, Cumberland Furnace; brothers, Wendell Reed, Cumberland Furnace, Richard Reed, Erin; sister, Linda Miller, Berne, IND; and her grandson, Jonathan Foster, Cumberland Furnace. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Foster, Denny Crews, Jerry Steele, Greg Miller, Dalton Bagwell, Michael Reed and Mark Reed.
