Anna Dalton

Anna Murl Evans Dalton, age 87 of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. BJ Brack officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Trenton, KY.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
Anna was born on August 1, 1929 in Webb, West Virginia to the late John Smith Evans and Sadie Romans Evans. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Dixie Spears and son, Ernie Dalton.
Anna married the love of her life on April 19, 1947 in Louisa, KY. She loved gardening, cooking, canning, and attending church at Temple Bell United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Benjamin H. Dalton; son, Danny (Christine) Dalton; daughter, Patricia (Kenny) Langford; brother, Edsel Evans; son-in-law, Gary Spears; sister, Marie Short; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
