Ann Thelma O'Brien - 1932 Ann Thelma O'Brien, 77, Clarksville, died Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. O'Brien was born December 29, 1932 in Queens, NY and was preceded in death by her parents, John and Karen Peterson Carlsen; and her husband, George H. O'Brien. She was retired from Civil Service and was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church, a 44 year member and past president of American Legion Aux. Unit 233, lifetime member of the VFW Aux. and past president of the WK&T Aux. Survivors include her son, Ramond O'Brien, Clarksville; daughter, Pamela Blankenship, Clarksville; grandson, Christopher Blankenship; brother, Arnold Samuelsen, Elizabeth, NJ.
