Ann Allen

Ann Lee Allen, 86, formerly of Clarksville, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Kingston Nursing Home, Miamisburg, OH. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jim Graves officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Allen was born January 28, 1924 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Marable and Linnie Parchman Myers; her husband, Howard Hughes Allen. She was a retired hairdresser and a former member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was currently a member of Marine Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Hayes, Franklin, OH; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
