Anita Cooper

Anita Cline Cooper, age 91, of Clarksville, TN passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Anita entered this life on July 11, 1931, in Lamar County, AL to the late John Michael Cline and Lena Hayes Cline. She was a member of Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Cooper; daughter, Shelia Dozier; brothers, Thaxton Cline and Mike Cline, and sister, Pat Pierce.

Survivors include her son, Ron (Debbie) Cooper; grandchildren, Melinda (Chris) Smith, Amanda Cooper, Rebecca (Blair Lindsay) Dozier, and Wade (Amanda) Cooper; sisters, Thresa Crawley, and Betty Belk. Anita also leaves behind five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing or Imagination Library of Montgomery County.
