Angelina Cruz Mafnas, also known as Angie or Nang, age 83, formerly from Canada Barrigada and Dededo, was called by our Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Catholic Funeral will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Deacon Orin Rovito of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the hour of service.
Angie will be laid to rest as the Guam Memorial Park in Leyang Barrigada at a later date.
Angelina entered this life on March 23, 1939, in Sumay, Guam to the late Simon Borja and Isabel Mendiola Cruz (Famillian Bila and Katendo). She was retired from the Guam Government and a member of the Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo (Bill) Chargualaf Mafnas; siblings, Jose M and Maria Cruz, Joaquin M. and Carmen M. Cruz, Jesus M. and Teresita S.A. Cruz, Rosa C. and Olive Cody, Francisca C. and Mario Ulep, Santiago C. and Ana M. Mafnas, Vicente C. and Margarita C. Mafnas, and Miguel (Mike Laguana; granddaughter, Davina Vanessa Quitugua, and great-granddaughter, Auriah Star Quitugua.
Left to cherish her memory is her children and their spouses, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alcantara, Kyle V.M. Alcantara and Maria Tesiro (Sophia Alcantara and Urijah F. Alcantara), Kristin A. and Samuel Valdez (Alexis J. Monarez, Aliyah M Monarez, Eden E. Valdez, and Isiah S. Valdez), Kioni J.M. Alcantara, Kameron J.M. and Khloe Alcantara (Ka’lina A. Alcantara), Bill Junior and Mishellyn Mafnas, Brendon de Guzman (Leonardo de Guzman), Belle Mafnas and Jayven Quitugua, Bethany Mafnas, Brayden Mafnas; step-son, Joseph Tudela. Angie will be surely missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Maria C. and Jose T. San Nicolas. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
