Amanda Simpson

Amanda Gayle Simpson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 at the caring and loving Signature Heath Care facility in Erin, Tennessee. She was born on October 6th, 1938 to Alonzo and Ruby Madden Tefft of Erin, Tennessee. She was one of eleven children, the siblings preceded in death are Bonnie Crain, Betty Key, Roberta Jones, Nancy Meadow, Roy Tefft, and Doy Tefft. The surviving siblings are Georgie Howell, Faye Kelly, Carmon Tefft, and Joan Hamilton. She is preceded in death by husbands Aaron Hooper, Stanley Harris, and Robert Simpson. She is survived by children Dale Hooper Karshenas (Amir), Johnny Hooper, Jill Hooper Boltz (Thomas), Michael Harris (Emily). Grandchildren: Zach Karshenas, Farrah Karshenas, Jared Hooper, Brock Harris, Chase Hooper, Madden Harris.
Amanda worked as a realtor and developer in Dickson, Tennessee since 1985, she was a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollars Club. Her hobbies and interests included building houses, sewing, reading, and walking the beach.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Amanda touched are invited to the Nave Funeral Home, 4639 West Main Street, Erin, TN, 37061. The family will greet friends from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, September 4th with the Memorial Service to follow at 1pm. Please join us to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just to chat.
