Amanda Jean Hodges, 75, Cunningham, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Marion United Methodist Church with Rev. Ward Carver officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 31, 1934 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Jerrell "Freeman" Hodges and Estelle "Grace" Harvey Bryant Hodges. Ms. Hodges graduated from Montgomery Central High School and later from Austin Peay State University and Medical University in Memphis. She used her degrees to work as a Medical Technologist in Louisiana and most recently at the VA Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. She was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church. Survivors include her aunt, Evelyn Hodges, and her cousins. Pallbearers will be Dwight Dickson, Ben Weaver, Benny Bearden, Robert Hodges, Donald Hodges, Gene Ferrell, Leon Ferrell, and Harold Ferrell.
