Alvin Morrison - 1927 Alvin Luther Morrison, 83, Erin,Tn., died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel Erin,Tn. with Bro. Phillip Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8pm Saturday and from 8am until service Sunday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr.Alvin was born May 7, 1927 in Dalton,Ga. son of the late Luther and Velma Evans Morrison.He was preceded in death by his wife Avis Morrison and daughter Brenda (Faye) Morrison. He was a U.S.Army Veteran. Survivors include one son Roger (Sherry)Morrison of Franklin,Tn.two daughters Vickie (Charles) Allen of Erin,Tn. Teresa Sanders of Harlem,Ga. eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Eric Morrison, Keith Morrison, David Morriosn, Matthew Sanders, Michael Sanders, Jerry Lee Black.
