Alva Lee Gray, age 86, Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehabilitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Trammel officiating. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Alva entered this life on November 14, 1926 in Montgomery County, daughter to Terry Lee and Ruth Ella Daniel Buckner. She was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School, a loving and dedicated homemaker, and belonged to the church family at Forest Street United Methodist Church.
Alva is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Hooper Gray, sons Roger Gray and wife Brenda and Victor Gray and wife Vickie, and sister Myrtle Buckner Johnson, all of Clarksville. She was the proud grandmother of Barry and Miranda Gray and great grandmother of Alyssa Gray and Izaick Swan.
