Allen Dean Hall (92) of Clarksville, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord, July, 28, 2022. He was born on October 17, 1929. He leaves behind his devoted and beloved wife, Frances Hall; children, Theresa Avera, Diane (Steve) Miner, and stepdaughters, Beverly (Kenny) Taylor, Beth (Lewis) Estes, and Suzanne (Ashley) Wyatt, and grandchildren, Jereme (Cathy) Miner and Melanie (Sharrock) Cobb, 8 step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Dene Hall, his loved wife of 47 years, both his parents, and his 2 brothers. Allen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved the Lord, gardening, hunting from Alaska to Tennessee, fishing in Bumpus Mills, watching the Braves, playing Rook, and his wonderful Sunday school class (The Baracca Class).
Allen joined the Army in 1946 and retired after 20 years as a Command Sgt Major; at Ft. Campbell, KY. He enjoyed a second career with Metropolitan Life until his final retirement. He was the prominent founder of Dream Factory Inc. of Clarksville, TN. Allen was also a charter member of Camp Rainbow, serving as Camp Director and boat dock staff for many years. He was an involved member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville, for more than 50 years.
The Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Reverend Pat Van Dyke officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
The pallbearers will be, Jereme Miner, Hank Miner, Sharrock Cobb, Kenny Taylor, Cole Taylor, Bradley Taylor, Ashley Wyatt, and Joseph Estes. Honorary pallbearers will be The Baracca Sunday School class.
