Allan Thomas

Leonard Allan Thomas, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home while surrounded by his family, on Monday, February 20, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial with US Army Honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Allan's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Allan entered this life on March 31, 1932 in Clarksville to the late Leonard Amos Thomas and Irma Inez Barbee Thomas. As a young man, Allan served with the US Army and went on to have a trade career as a brick mason. He was a member of the Forest St. United Methodist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Allan loved the Lord. Additionally, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed his retirement with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his siblings, Roger Dean Thomas and Sara Frances Kelly. Survivors include his loving wife, Eva Mae Brawley Thomas; children, Cheryl Simpson (Loren), Beverly Keay (Larry), Mari Jo Davis (Kenny), Jeff Thomas, Teri Mutters (Kenny), and Mickial Thomas; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Ben Davis, Matt Davis, James Farmer, Logan Keay, Chad Seay, and Christian Sherron.
