Alice Jane Work, 74 of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Friday July 26, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastors Harold Witmer and Hubert White officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Alice was born November 21, 1938 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late, William Jessie and Florence Rebecca Dilley Rye. She was a Housewife and a member of Community Church. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, SSG (Ret) L.D. Work and her siblings, Don Rye and Rachel Ripley.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Penny R. Work and her son, William Anthony (Deborah) Work both of Clarksville; grandchildren, Caleb Richard and Benjamin Anthony Work; sister, Mary (George) Keeler of Ashland City, TN.
Pallbearers will be, Michael Shelby, Catarino Guzman, Kenny Barbour, Chip Keeler, Lou Sunstein and Harold Hensley.
