Alfred JR Mullins, age 72, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Benny Mann officiating.
The Mullins family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Alfred entered into this life on January 14, 1941 in Stewart County, Tennessee, son to Huston and Bessie Milliken Mullins. Alfred had an active career in route sales with Frito-Lay and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 40 years, Linda Gayle Rye Mullins of Clarksville; children, Scott Mullins and his wife Kelly of Clarksville, Bobby Mullins of Oakwood, TN, and Sherri Kelly of Anderson, IN; brother, Willie Mullins and his wife Linda of Clarksville; and sisters, Linda Robertson and her husband Perry of Woodlawn, Janice Dennis of Indian Mound, Patsy Shepherd and her husband Russell of Indian Mound, Cathy Mann of Dover, and Pansy Lee and husband Mike of Indian Mound. He was the loving grandfather to Tyler Mullins, Ian Kelly, Sara Brown, Austin Mullins, and Jackson Mullins. He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Cameron Shepherd.
