Albert Rankin

Albert Harmon Rankin, 75, Clarksville, died Monday, February 22, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. The funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Park Lane Church of the Nazarene with Revs. Larry Spraker and Tom Compton officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Hopkinsville, KY with military honors . Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church. He was born December 31, 1934 in Marion County, Iowa and was the son of the late, Thomas H. and Ethel Faye Crandall Rankin. Mr. Rankin was retired from Opryland Hotel Maintenance Department; a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Park Lane Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Judith Westerman Rankin, Clarksville; daughters, Connie Barnhart, Cathy Williams, Carol Ann Compton; brothers, Ernest Rankin, Garold Rankin, George Rankin; sister, Mae Mathes, Russell, Iowa; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
