Albert Dorris

Albert Lafayette Dorris, Jr., age 90, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Revs. Rich Cook and Duane Houston officiating. Burial will follow at Whites Cemetery.
The Dorris family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Albert entered into this life on November 27, 1927 in Robertson County, TN son of the late Albert and Mae Dorris, Sr. He was a member of Grace Church of The Nazarene, and The VFW. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Benton Dorris; children, James, Glenda, Treva, and David Dorris.
Survivors include his son, Albert Ronald Dorris; caretaker, Dorothy Martin, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
