AJ Dalton

March 15, 1922 — December 18, 2016

Mr. Alvin James “AJ” Dalton, age 94 of Erin, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Lowery Cemetery with full military honors.
The Dalton family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Alvin entered this life on March 15, 1922 in Madison County, IL, son to the late Henry and Edith Stoltz Dalton. AJ proudly served his country in the United States Army where he retired. He was a member of the VFW and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his loving wife, Norma Mitchell Dalton; son, James A. Dalton (Jill); daughters, Nancy Richardson, Dorothy Hunt; brother, Glenn Dalton; sister, Evelynn Holladay; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Mike Manners, Kevin Manners, Izaac Scott, and Aaron Scott.
