Agnes Hampton

Agnes Stacey Hampton, 81, Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery, Dickson County. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the church. She was born December 10, 1927 in Montgomery County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gideon and Nellie Martin Stacey; husband, Clifford Hampton, and her sons, Don Hampton, Edward Hampton, and Steve Hampton. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Reed, Clarksville; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
