Agnes Mae Cherry, age 91 of Stewart, TN, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastors Denise Settle and Beverly Dycus officiating. Burial will follow in Weaks Cemetery.
The Cherry family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Agnes entered this life on June 3, 1928 in Hurricane Creek, TN, daughter to the late Arthur and Beddie Haneline Lyle.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Clyde Martin Sr.; children, Russell Martin Jr., Sharon Bernice Baggett, Debbie Walters; three brothers; Condie Lyle, Owen Lyle, and William Lyle.
Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Frank Cherry; children, Janice Faye (Jim) Smith, Phyllis Ann Hasley, and Pam (Brian) Westmorland. Agnes also leaves behind seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Allen, Cody Smith, Derek Smith, Dylan Hudson, Gabe Pulley, Dustin Butler, Darrell Allison, and Stephen Brown. Gage Forsgren will serve as honorary pallbearer.
