Addie Lavern Brewer, age 80 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Marion United Methodist Church with Rev. Phill Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Lavern entered this life on April 4, 1941 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Sterling Carney and Dorothy Conaster Neblett. She was a member of Marion United Methodist church and worked as a welder for Trane Company.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Bryant.
Survivors include her husband, Leo C. Brewer; children, Douglas W. (Bonnie) Tucker, Melinda K. (James) Jori, and Tammy R. (Todd) Trice; grandchildren, Ryan (Tirzah) Tucker, Erica (Robert) Henson, J.J. (Jessi) Jori, Dylan (Jordan) Jori, Mason Trice, and Caden Trice; six great-grandchildren, and siblings, Danny Neblett, Patsy Shelton, Brenda Shelton, and Cathey Tubbs.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Tucker, J.J.Jori, Dylan Jori, Mason Trice, Caden Trice, Mike Chitwood, James Jori, Kevin Neblett.
Memorial donations may be made to Marion United Methodist Church.
