Condolence: Mr. E, Family, & Looking Glass Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. She always wanted to know how we were & to take care of each other. Many times she shared her love of her family and how proud she was of all of you. She also had so much passion for creating delicious food in a beautiful place. Our hopes & prayers for you is that all of your sweet memories will bring comfort to you.

Condolence: I would like to extend my condolences to your family. Mrs. Edington was clearly a good, kind and loving woman that will be greatly missed by those in her life. It is obvious she lived a life filled with love. May you take comfort in the Bible's promise at Revelations 21:4 that there will come a day when, God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more". When that time comes, sad times such as these will be a thing of the past.

Condolence: Linda Kay and I used to play piano duets in high school - I visited her at her home and her restaurant several years ago - she was the same bright, funny, and lovable lady as she was all those years ago. RIP, my friend.

Condolence: Linda Kay Johnson Edington touched many people in many ways during her life. We became friends when she moved to Murfreesboro from Cleveland, Tennessee during our sophomore year at Central High School. We spent many hours on the phone talking and getting to know each other. I was a country kid with few social graces and she was always proper and ladylike. After high school we went our separate ways but that friendship continued all these years. We kept in touch with an occasional phone call and visit. A couple of years ago she told me that she had asked Mac (her husband of 60 years) to inform me if anything happened to her. She also made me promise to have my Lynda inform her if something happened to me.
This past Monday I received a text message from Mac saying that Linda Kay had gone home to Jesus. I know that her family already miss her and their hearts ache but her life was very full and rewarding and now she is free of this earthly bound.
I am so glad I had the opportunity of knowing her and hope to see her again.
